This course provides developers with information and exercises on best practices for building serverless applications using AWS Lambda and other services in the AWS Serverless Platform. You will use AWS frameworks to deploy a serverless application in hands-on labs that scale with complexity. You will use AWS documentation throughout the course to develop authentic ways to learn and solve problems in real-world settings.

- Apply event-driven best practices to designing a serverless application using the appropriate AWS services
- Identify the challenges and trade-offs of transitioning to serverless development and provide recommendations appropriate for your specific development organization and environment

- Understanding of application development on AWS, equivalent to attending the Developing on AWS classroom training course
- Knowledge equivalent to participation in the following serverless digital training courses: AWS Lambda Foundations and Amazon API Gateway for Serverless Applications
